Criteria
Submission Requirements for BOTH Maranacook and National Scholarships Due May 11, 2025
- 500 words answering one of the essay prompts:
1. How have the arts or sciences changed your life?
2. List a strategy you would implement in order to make the arts and sciences more accessible.
3. Discuss how obstacles in accessibility have impacted your academic experience.
OR
- Submit a representative sample of your artistic or scientific work with a statement about your project (250 words)

Additional Criteria
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (submit copy of school transcript)
- Must be a graduating senior at Maranacook Community High School in Readfield Maine in good standing to apply and be considered for the Maranacook Arts & Sciences Scholarship
- Must be a graduating senior in good standing at your high school to apply and be considered for National Arts and Sciences Scholarship
- Must be pursuing secondary education after high school graduation in the fields of the arts or sciences
